(Waurika-AP) -- An 11 year old Waurika boy is dead after the all-terrain vehicle he was driving was hit by a car. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Dalton Howard was killed in the crash on U-S Highway 70 about 12 miles east of Waurika Thursday.
Troopers say Howard was hit when he turned the ATV from a county road onto the highway and into the path of a car. The boy was knocked more than 100 feet by the impact.
