Man accused of leaving scene of hit & run accident involving toddler in Ada
ADA, OK - One man remains in jail tonight accused of hitting a toddler with his vehicle and driving off in Ada.

ADA, OK - One man remains in jail tonight accused of hitting a toddler with his vehicle and driving off in Ada.
Ada police tell us Anthony Stonecipher was arrested Thursday afternoon accused of leaving the scene of an injury accident. The Pontotoc County Court Clerk's Office tells us Stonecipher stood in court Friday, but because the accident remains under investigation he has not been formally charged yet.
Police say the accident happened Thursday afternoon in the 800 block of North Stockton in Ada. Officers say the two-year-old boy Stonecipher hit was taken by EMS to the hospital. Police say Stonecipher later returned to the scene of the accident.
Officials at Valley View Hospital tell us the toddler has been discharged.
Stonecipher is being held on $50,000 bond.
