6-24-04 - A Denison business was the victim of a smash and grab burglary, but at the hands of a driver.
Employees arrived at the Las Brisas Mexican restaurant Thursday morning to find shattered glass and blood on the floor. Police say someone drove a vehicle through the doors of the restaurant at Austin and Walker streets sometime during the night.
The thief stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. Despite the damage, the restaurant opened for lunch.
