6-24-04 - It was a close call on Lake Texoma Thursday when a bass boat capsized and sent three people into the water. But within 10 minutes, a passing boat picked them up and took them to safety.
There were fishing just to the east of Sanders Island, about 500 yards off the shore when somehow the 16 foot boat capsized. The Marshall county husband and wife, along with a friend, managed to tread water until help came. None of them were wearing life preservers.
