Thousands In Crack-Cocaine Off The Streets

06-25-04 – A tactical team for the Ardmore Police Department arrested two people on several felony drug charges early Friday morning. Officers found 25 grams of crack-cocaine with a street value of $2,500 dollars inside a home in the 200 block of School Street Southwest.

Tewainna Brown and Arthur Jones of Dallas were arrested and charged with drug trafficking, possession of narcotics within 2,000 feet of a school, and possession of a firearm during a felony.

Just before 6:00am, police broke through a reinforced door and found the suspects, drugs and a loaded semi-automatic assault rifle.

Ardmore police are still looking for the lessee of the house. He is wanted for questioning.
