JOHNSTON COUNTY, OK - A 60-year-old longtime educator at Murray State College is dead after an early morning fire destroyed a home near Tishomingo. Josh Stevenson has this live report from First News at Five.

The Tishomingo and Ravia Fire Departments responded to the call around 7 this morning. When they arrived they say the home was fully involved. It took them about 30 minutes to extinguish the fire. Inside the home fire fighters found the body of 60-year-old Jane Bullard.

At that point the Oklahoma State Fire Marshal's Office was called to investigate, and the OSBI and the Johnston County Sheriff's Office are all investigating this fire, but so far they say there is no evidence of any foul play.

Bullard worked at the Murray State College campus in Ardmore and taught higher education courses including psychology and sociology.
