Tom Bean police officer honored for heroism
TOM BEAN, TX - Tom Bean Police Officer Larry Rittenhouse was named the Hero of the Year at the city council meeting Monday night in Tom Bean.

TOM BEAN, TX - Tom Bean Police Officer Larry Rittenhouse was named the Hero of the Year at the city council meeting Monday night in Tom Bean.
Officer Larry Rittenhouse saved a small child from choking after they were having a seizure. Rittenhouse responded quickly by using CPR and saved the child.
The City of Tom Bean awarded him the honor, along with a letter from the mayor stating the city was very fortunate to have someone like him on staff with the police department.
