DURANT, OK - Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a house fire in Durant this morning. Daniel Armbruster has more.

At 9:45 Thursday morning a fire broke out on Hilltop Hollow Road just east of Durant. The state fire marshal has been called to the home.

Officials with the Durant Fire Department says they arrived on scene around 9:50. It took them and other area departments about 45 minutes to put the fire out.

Preliminary investigations indicate the fire may have started in a southwest bedroom, however it is a unclear exactly how the fire started. No one was home at the time or injured in the fire, but three people live in the home.
