Coleman teacher accused of molestation arrested by OSBI
DURANT, OK - A longtime Johnston County teacher accused of molesting children out on bond is arrested again by OSBI investigators in Durant.

DURANT, OK - A longtime Johnston County teacher accused of molesting children out on bond is arrested again by OSBI investigators in Durant.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says they arrested 53-year-old Billy Ray Smith at a home on West Evergreen on a Johnston County warrant yesterday.
Durant Police arrested Smith in December on multiple counts of forcible sodomy from incidents that happened between Smith and a minor, but he bonded out a day later. Since then the OSBI says other victims have come forward.
Smith worked as a teacher at Coleman High School for 30 years. He's currently on administrative leave.
If anyone has information about other illegal acts committed by Smith they are asked to contact the OSBI at 580-298-5525.
