KINGSTON, Okla. -- Officials at the Kingston Police Department say that Sunday night was a horrible night for the two girls, but now they have to find the two suspects, and they believe citizens might hold the clues.
Around 9 o’clock Sunday night, the clerks were headed home when two suspects in ski masks held them at gunpoint and took close to $5,000 in cash.
During the robbery, one of the girls was hit over the head with a gun. The other girl had the gun pointed to the back of her head.
The Kingston Police Department is asking for help from the public. Police Chief John Canoe says that help from the public is one of the most crucial pieces to cases like this.
"That’s one of the main things about a police department is having the citizens that will help. They hear things we don’t hear, and they transfer that back over to us."
Chief Canoe says he's been working with the owners of Super-C all day Monday and will hopefully have more information and some type of leads by tomorrow.
