7-18-04- Sherman police say it's another example of drug traffickers using the Highway 75 corridor to transport drugs through Grayson County. Sunday afternoon, police busted three people from out of state for transporting marijuana, ecstacy, and crack-cocaine.
A Sherman police officer pulled over a vehicle on Hwy 75 northbound near the Loy Lake exit in Sherman Sunday evening. After smelling marijuana smoke, the officer and his K-9 partner Harro discovered a bag in the back seat of the car filled with 481 grams of crack cocaine. They also discovered 12.5 grams of exstacy and nearly two ounces of marijuana.
A woman and two men, all from Illinois, were arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance.
