BRYAN CO. Okla -- Authorities called off a manhunt after searching more than four hours for an attempted robbery suspect. Authorities shut down parts of Highway 48 Friday night in between Durant and Kinefic.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol brought out several troopers, a helicopter, a small airplane, their SWAT team and canine units.

Around five Friday evening a homeowner saw a suspicious looking car in his driveway, said Captain Ronnie Hampton. When the homeowner approached the vehicle, two men ran away, while a woman driver drove off. She picked up one of the men, but both suspects were arrested Friday in Durant.

The third man is on the run. The three people tried to steal tools from a barn on the homeowner’s property, but left the items in a wheelbarrow before running away.

Authorities don't believe the man is armed, but says residents that live in between Kinefic and Durant should be on the lookout for a man in his late twenties, wearing a light colored shirt and dark pants.
