HUGO, OK- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a third person has been arrested and is charged with the murder of 39-year-old Robert Strickland ([pictured, right). Kerrie McKeever, 18, is in the Choctaw County Jail charged with murder.

Strickland, a welder from Hugo, left his home early in the morning on April 5. When he didn't come home as expected, his common law wife called the police. His burnt truck was found later that day in a remote area in Pushmataha County.

Another crime scene was discovered in far north Choctaw County. Authorities believe he was assaulted in one place taken to another and killed. They believe the suspects then dumped his body at a fourth location before setting his truck on fire.

Ten days after 39-year-old Robert Strickland went missing, the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's Office confirmed a body discovered last week was Mr. Strickland.

Clifton Parrish, 26, of Fort Towson, and Aaron Jacobs, 25, of Spencerville, were arrested last week for Strickland's murder. Today's arrest marks the third person charged with Strickland's murder.

While the identity of Robert Strickland has been confirmed, the State Medical Examiner's Office is still working to determine the manner and cause of his death.
