Arrest made in 2009 Rattan murder
CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK - An arrest was made Choctaw County this afternoon in a cold case murder from one year ago. Fred Holder, 65, is in the Pushmataha County Jail charged with the murder of Jackie Ray Dellinger last March.

CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK - An arrest was made Choctaw County this afternoon in a cold case murder from one year ago. Fred Holder, 65, is in the Pushmataha County Jail charged with the murder of Jackie Ray Dellinger last March.
Authorities say Holder was apprehended on a Choctaw County road Friday and placed in the Pushmataha County Jail. The arrest came after authorities obtained a signed warrant from a judge in Idabel. Police then pulled him over while driving alone today.
Jackie Ray Dellinger was found shot to death on his property near Rattan on March 6, 2009. Pushmataha County Sheriff Jim Duncan said it took some time to get the warrant for Holder's arrest, but with the help of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Choctaw County Sheriff's Department, they were able to arrest him Friday.
"He was never far out from where we knew he was. They located him and they stopped him. They made the arrest. The OSBI transported him to my jail. He's been booked in and had his initial arraignment," Duncan said.
A judge denied bond for Holder at Friday's arraignment.
