Police Search for Oklahoma Escapee

8-16-04 - McALESTER, Okla. (AP) Police continue searching for an escapee from the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center in McAlester. Scott Robinson was last seen during a head count at 10:30 Friday night. He was missing during a head count at midnight.

Prison spokesman Bob Jameson says Robinson apparently kicked out the window screen on the second floor of the minimum security prison and jumped to the ground.

Robinson was serving 20 years for robbery with a dangerous weapon and authorities say he could be heading to the Oklahoma City area.

Robinson is a white male with long brown hair and green eyes, 5-feet-10 inches tall and 160 pounds.
