Around noon today we have showers and storms that look to fire up and could become strong to severe. Primary threats are large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall. Possibilities for an isolated tornado are low but not eliminated. Stay tuned with News 12 Weather Authority for updates.
8-17-04 - The FAA is investigating a rough landing near a Davis, Oklahoma airport. A Ft. Worth pilot lost power 8500 feet in the air at around 6:10pm Monday. The pilot was able to land at a field near The Crazy Horse Airport, barely missing power lines.
The pilot was not injured, officials are investigating why his single engine Piper Comanche lost power.
There was some damage to a barb wire fence and the plane.
