Too Much Chlorine in Water

Video will be available shortly.

8-18-04 – The City of Sadler, Texas is working to clear up a problem with the town’s water supply. Residents say, for the past two weeks, their tap water looks brown, scratches their throats, burns their eyes and smells like bleach.

The Mayor of Sadler, Tommy Filip, says there is too much chlorine in the system. The city is flushing it out and expects the water to clear up by Friday or Saturday.

Some Sadler residents complain the problem took too long to fix. They also say they have seen water problems in the past and are calling for a permanent solution.
