Revitalized 'Trade Days' back in Whitewright
WHITEWRIGHT, TX-- New management at one Texoma flea market is trying to revitalize a popular weekend event.

WHITEWRIGHT, TX-- New management at one Texoma flea market is trying to revitalize a popular weekend event.
Whitewright Trade Days used to bring in hundreds of vendors but dropped off after the death of the former manager.
Now, the land owned by the American Legion is becoming a busy site once again.
This weekend marked the second month in a row the new management has held the event.
Vendors increased from 32 at the April Trade Days to more than 80 this weekend.
Managers say they hope to see more than 100 vendors at the June Trade Days.
"The old market, when it was here ten years ago, we could expect anywhere from 5,000-10,000 people on the weekend, to come out and shop these vendors, and then they got to see what else was in Whitewright," Trade Days manager Andrew Guiette, said.
Whitewright Trade Days are scheduled for the fourth weekend of every month.
The next market is scheduled for June 25th through the 27th on Pine Street in Whitewright, Texas.
