Fatal accident in Murray County
MURRAY CO., OK - A Sulphur man died in a one-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon after losing control of his pickup truck.

MURRAY CO., OK - A Sulphur man died in a one-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon after losing control of his pickup truck.

65-year-old James Jacobs was driving westbound on State Highway 7 when he ran off the right side of the road. Oklahoma Highway Patrol report he over corrected, swerved across both lanes of the highway. He then struck an embankment which overturned his truck.

The report stated he was not wearing his seat belt and was partially ejected from the vehicle. Jacobs later died at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital of a head injury.
