City dedicates memorial of Lone Grove tornado
LONE GROVE, OK - A new memorial was dedicated in Lone Grove Saturday morning to honor the victims of the deadly tornado that struck the city in February 2009.

LONE GROVE, OK - A new memorial was dedicated in Lone Grove Saturday morning to honor the victims of the deadly tornado that struck the city in February 2009.
The granite stone memorial will stand in Sullivan Park, as a monument to remember the victims of the tornado and commemorate those who helped rebuild their lives.
Hundreds attended the ceremony, including victims and their families, state and local dignitaries and State Representative Pat Ownbey
City leaders said the deadly tornado that struck Lone Grove on February 10th of last year was the most devastating thing to ever happen to their city. The tornado killed eight people and destroyed dozens of homes.
