Fireworks return to Lake Texoma

MARSHALL COUNTY - This summer, Lake Texoma didn't get its usual tourism traffic because of rain and flooding throughout the summer. The Kingston fireworks display is usually held during the 4th of July weekend, but high water levels at the lake and damage from flooding postponed the celebration until this weekend.

Fireworks return to Lake Texoma

Thousands of people packed Lake Texoma State Park to take a look at the fireworks show. Officials say they set off nearly $30,000 worth of pyrotechnics.

In addition to the fireworks, vendors had booths, and there was live entertainment.
