Woman injured in Sherman accident
SHERMAN, TX - One woman was injured in an accident Thursday afternoon at a major intersection in Sherman. Sherman police and fire tell us it happened a little before 2 p.m.at State Highway 289 and U.S. Highway 82 when a woman in a white car was exiting and collided with a Ford pickup.

SHERMAN, TX - One woman was injured in an accident Thursday afternoon at a major intersection in Sherman. Sherman police and fire tell us it happened a little before 2 p.m.at State Highway 289 and U.S. Highway 82 when a woman in a white car was exiting and collided with a Ford pickup.
That woman was taken to Texoma Medical Center with a head injury. The woman's four-year-old son was also on board, he was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The driver of the pickup was not hurt.
Northbound traffic was diverted to the service road, and southbound traffic slowed while an officer directed traffic around the accident.
