RATTAN, Okla. -- Monday night the Rattan city council met to discuss the resignation of Police Chief Victoria Hendrix, and Officer Russell Bailey, the city's reserve officer.

Hendrix claims she resigned because the city clerk constantly harrassed her for not writing enough tickets.

Hendrix says she refusesd to write tickets for money, so finally stepped down.

One city official tells us that the council has set a deadline of one week to resolve the issue, but would not go into detail on any proposed solutions.
