GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex -- Grayson County law enforcement are hoping for some new equipment thanks to the federal government.
The sheriff's office has applied for a Homeland Security Grant, which is available for counties and cities that need help acquiring equipment.
The office has not released specifics about the equipment they will request, but sheriff's officials say they will be better able to respond in emergencies with the new equipment.
