8-26-04 - Parents in at least two local school districts won’t have to keep up with their child’s report cards any longer – both Ardmore and Denison districts will let parents check grades on-line.
It’s an option many schools are moving to. Using a system with a password, parents check on their student on a website. Each student is assigned an ID number that only the parent knows.
Using the on-line system, they can find out their grades in each subject. School officials in Denison and Ardmore hope that it allows parents to be more involved in their child’s education.
Denison's web site will be ready by the first of the year, while Ardmore’s is already in place.
