DENISON, TX - A local community college will receive a big grant to help put Texomans to work. Texas Senator John Cornyn's Office says the Grayson County College Foundation will get a $1 million grant over the next three years to help students be successful in high-growth, high-demand industries.

Grayson County College officials say they will use the grant to start brand new hospitality management and culinary arts programs that will become available to students over the next couple of years.

The funding comes through the U-S Department of Labor's Community-Based Job Training Initiative.
