City council calls emergency meeting on collapsed downtown Denison building
DENISON, TX - City leaders in Denison have called an emergency meeting set for tomorrow to discuss a collapsed building that's closed a busy part of Main Street.

DENISON, TX - City leaders in Denison have called an emergency meeting set for tomorrow to discuss a collapsed building that's closed a busy part of Main Street.
Part of the Katy Antique Station at 104 East Main crumbled earlier this summer right into the street. Since then the City of Denison has been forced to shut down a block of Main Street, causing headaches for drivers, neighboring downtown businesses, and city officials, who now say it's time to address the situation for the health and safety of the public.
The owners of the antique store tell us they are having to wait on their insurance company before things can move forward.
We've been following this story all summer, and we'll be at that meeting tomorrow set for noon at City Hall.
