LOVE COUNTY, OK - A former Marietta teacher accused of having inappropriate relations with a student has been formally charged with rape. Second degree rape charges were filed Wednesday against Kimberly McClure, according to the Love County District Attorney's Office.

McClure is accused of having sex with a male student while she was a science teacher at Marietta High School. In January Marietta Public Schools officials confirmed that McClure had been fired.

Oklahoma court records show the family of the teenage boy asked for a protective order through the Love County courts, banning the woman from having any contact with him.
