Man shot, killed in McKinney robbery attempt
McKINNEY, TX - One man is dead after an attempted robbery inside a McKinney apartment Thursday night.

McKINNEY, TX - One man is dead after an attempted robbery inside a McKinney apartment Thursday night.
McKinney police tell us it happened Thursday night just before 9 inside an apartment in the 1200 block of North Tennessee Street when two Hispanic men entered and demanded money from three people inside. When they refused, one of the suspects shot 26-year-old Carl Coleman in the face.
Coleman was taken to a hospital in McKinney and then to Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where he was pronounced dead early Friday morning.
Police say the suspects left that apartment through the back door and fled on foot. If you have any information you're asked to call McKinney Police at 972-547-2700.
