JOHNSTON COUNTY, OK -- One teenager is dead Saturday, after being hit by a train in Johnston County.

JOHNSTON COUNTY, OK -- One teenager is dead Saturday, after being hit by a train in Johnston County.

The accident happened just after 5 AM on State Highway 1 West and Jewel Sykes Road.

OHP Troopers say 19 -year-old Brently Farmer of Mill Creek was lying on the railroad tracks when he was hit by the train.

The train's conductor saw Farmer lying on the rails, but could not stop in time.

Farmer was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers don't know why Farmer was lying on the railroad tracks.
