Home badly damaged by fire in Denison
DENISON, TX-- Firefighters worked quickly, Sunday, to put out a house fire before it spread to surrounding homes, near the intersection of Tone and Walker.

DENISON, TX-- Firefighters worked quickly, Sunday, to put out a house fire before it spread to surrounding homes, near the intersection of Tone and Walker.
Just before 3pm neighbors say they saw smoke coming from the home at 904 W. Walker Street.
The family of three living in the home, were gone at the time, but arrived on the scene to find out, their house had been badly damaged.
Firefighters say the structure is now unlivable and waited on scene for the Red Cross to arrive to offer assistance.
Officials say it appears the fire was started by an electric malfunction in one of the back bedrooms, but a more thorough investigation will be taken over by the fire marshal.
