JOHNSTON COUNTY, OK - There are new developments in the case of three people accused of raping and killing a Murray State College professor, one of whom has been found not competent to stand trial.
The Johnston County court clerk says results of a competency examination are now in, and 41-year-old James Baker (pictured, center) was found not competent to stand trial. The two other suspects, 23-year-old Roy Zornes Jr (pictured, left), and 19-year-old Angel Cassa (pictured, right), were found fit to stand trial.
All three are charged in the death of longtime educator Jane Bullard. Investigators say the trio raped and murdered the 60-year-old at her home before setting fire to her Johnston County home on March 5th.
Zornes and Cassa are set to appear in court August 31st. It's unclear what's next for Baker. All three are being held without bond in the Johnston County Jail.
