Bondsmen accused of trying to bribe Carter Co. DA
CARTER COUNTY, OK - Two local bail bondsmen are accused of attempting to bribe a district attorney. Investigators say the two were trying to bribe a District Attorney Craig Ladd over a pending criminal case.

CARTER COUNTY, OK - Two local bail bondsmen are accused of attempting to bribe a district attorney. Investigators say the two were trying to bribe a District Attorney Craig Ladd over a pending criminal case.
Louis Perry and his wife, Raemona Perry, of Wynnewood, Oklahoma are accused of bribery of a public official. Investigators say the two were arrested in Ardmore on Wednesday after an undercover investigation.
Officials say the two were trying to bribe DA Craig Ladd to influence a criminal case in Carter County. The two have since been released.
Ladd has recused himself in the case. it is being handed over to district attorney Emily Redman of Bryan County. She says she hopes to review the case to file possible charges next week.
Investigators say the two backed the $100,000 of Ricky Murph, Jr., who is facing drug trafficking charges, but Murph failed to appear in court and is now wanted on additional warrants
