Bondsman accused of trying to bribe DA takes own life
WYNNEWOOD, OK - A Garvin County man accused of bribing a public official last week has taken his own life. The Garvin County Sheriff's office says Louis Perry died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound Monday night.

WYNNEWOOD, OK - A Garvin County man accused of bribing a public official last week has taken his own life. The Garvin County Sheriff's office says Louis Perry died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound Monday night.
Sheriff Steve Brooks says it happened at the Perry residence just after 8:30 p.m. Perry was given medical attention and was flown to OU Medical Center, but passed away on the way to the hospital.
Perry and his wife were arrested last week for trying to bribe district attorney Craig Ladd to influence a criminal case in Carter County (see Related Stories below), but were later released.
