Woman killed, girl injured in Madill accident
MADILL, OK - A Marshall County woman died in a traffic accident Monday night in Madill. Madill police say the accident happened about 10 p.m. at the intersection of Jagger Road and Highway 177.

MADILL, OK - A Marshall County woman died in a traffic accident Monday night in Madill. Madill police say the accident happened about 10 p.m. at the intersection of Jagger Road and Highway 177.
Police say 69-year-old Peggy Connell was driving with two of her granddaughters in the vehicle when she turned left to go south on Highway 177. Officers say Connell didn't see an oncoming semi truck and pulled out in front of it. The truck smashed into the front driver side of her SUV.
Police say Connell was taken to a Madill hospital by ambulance, but was pronounced dead a short time later. Her 13-year-old granddaughter is now at OU Medical Center last listed in critical condition.
