PAULS VALLEY, OK - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has ruled the death of Pauls Valley interim police chief Scott Robbins a suicide.
The State Medical Examiner says Robbins died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The OSBI was called to the scene Tuesday afternoon by Pauls Valley Police and Garvin County Sheriff's deputies after a family member found Robbins dead inside his home at 601 South Seminole in Pauls Valley.
The OSBI will continue collecting information on this case and will eventually give the Garvin County Sheriff's Office a report on this investigation.
The Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce announced that there will be a prayer vigil for the family and friends of Scott Robbins on Thursday, August 5, at the Bosa Community Center from 5 to 7 p.m.
