PARIS, TX-- ALDI Food Market could soon be opening a store in the city of Paris.
After three residents spoke in favor of the store at the Planning & Zoning Commission meeting, the commission unanimously passed a preliminary plan for the store to take over the space that used to be Hastings in Paris' Towne Center.
The Paris City Council will now hold a public hearing on Monday before they make their decision to approve or deny the site plan.
Those who wish to speak in favor or against the development are encouraged to attend Monday's meeting at 5:30.
