Accident shuts down northbound lanes of I-35

LOVE COUNTY, OK -- A major accident shut down part of I-35 just north of the Red River.

According to OHP trooper Ronnie Hampton, around 6:30 p.m. a semi truck and pickup pulling a trailer collided just north of the Red River.

Two people were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. No names have been released. The accident is still under investigation.

Northbound traffic was backed up all the way through Gainesville.
