PAOLI, OK -- Two men are dead after a standoff in Paoli, Oklahoma this afternoon.

Around 4:15 p.m. an OHP tactical team broke down the door to this home, ending the nearly 5 hour stand off in Paoli.

"The OHP has made entry into the home, they have found a person deceased in the bedroom. it appears to be a self inflicted gunshot wound," said Garvin County Sheriff Larry Rhodes.

The Garvin County Sheriff's Office says Antonio Reynoso shot and killed Noel Sanchez Gonzoles at a home near the US 77, Highway 145 intersection, then barricaded himself inside a bedroom at the home.

"We do know Mr. Reynoso was of that home. He lived there with a lady who we have interviewed. She was not home at the time of the shooting," Rhodes said.

Authorities say Gonzoles was in his early 20s and was Reynoso's girlfriend's son.

"As far as this is being a small town, its overwhelming. I have a good police department and the best interagency cooperation in the state of OK. We don't like doing this but it happened and we are doing it and we are dealing with it," said Paoli Police Chief Johnny Turner.

Neighbors in the small town of Paoli say they still cant believe what happened.

"Just our little town everyone knows everyone most of us have been here all our lives. born and raised here."

"Just keep the family in your prayers. That's what we need right now."
