Friday's storms will have the potential to generate hail in the morning, and hail plus wind and tornadoes later in the day. Flash flooding is also possible with torrential rain in spots. Much improved weather moves in for the weekend. Remember, never drive through floodwater - turn around, don't drown!
ADA, OK -- The Ada City Council has decided to partially close one of it's streets.
According to Mayor Greg McCortney, a portion of Turner street near 10th and Main will soon be closed off for public use.
McCortney says the Trinity Baptist Church requested the closure due to safety reasons.
He says the city engineer will design a road closure plan to help accommodate the traffic, and the road won't officially close until that plan is complete.
