ADA, OK -- Tuesday is election day for some residents in Oklahoma and one of the key local issues is the city of Ada's school bond.

Voters will get to decide on a $16.7 million dollar Capital Improvements Bond.

According to Ada Public Schools, the money would go toward safe rooms, science and technology classrooms, music rooms and secure school entrances.

Some of the funds will also go toward building and athletic facility renovations and roof replacement.

If approved, the bond's impact on local taxpayers will be 78 cents a month per $100 dollars of property taxes.
