Alcohol plays a factor in Coal County injury accident

COAL COUNTY, OK -- Troopers say alcohol was a factor in a crash that sent two Coalgate residents to the hospital Friday night.

OHP says 20-year-old, Dalton Ingram, and 62-year-old, Steven Ilbery, crashed on State Highway 31 in Coal County just North of Coalgate.

Troopers say Ingram was traveling east on 31 when he left the roadway, over-corrected and slammed into Ilbery, who was driving west.

Authorities say Ingram was flown to OU Medical Center in critical condition. Ilbery was taken to a local hospital in fair condition.
