ARDMORE, OK - The annual Arbuckles to Ardmore Race for Mercy was held Sunday morning. The A2A began at 8 a.m. The race offers a full marathon, half marathon and a 5K.

The 5K was recently renamed "Robbie's Run" in memory of Robbie Brooks. Brooks was killed last memorial day weekend in a boating accident on Lake Murray. Friends said she was an active runner and an A2A organizer.

An Ardmore native took home first place in the full marathon, clocking in under four hours.

Organizers said over a thousand runners signed up for this year's race. Proceeds go to the Mercy Cancer Center.
