ARDMORE, OK - Friday afternoon southern Oklahoma lawmakers visited Ardmore to talk about the current legislative session.
The Ardmore Chamber of Commerce hosted the second in a series of Legislative Luncheons.
Representatives Tommy Hardin, Pat Ownbey and Senator Frank Simpson spoke about laws and issues they've faced this session including education funding, pay raises for state workers and restoring the state capitol.
Representative Pat Ownbey said these luncheons help open up communication between lawmakers and the people they serve.
"It brings a lot of these topics, it lets the people know where we're at on these subjects." said Ownbey.
The next Legislative Luncheon will be Friday, March 28th at the Ardmore Convention Center.
