ARDMORE, OK - The Ardmore chapter of the NAACP also celebrated Wednesday's 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, in Washington.

The chapter president and the executive chair actually went to the events in our nation's capital.

They just got off the plane Wednesday night, and the Ardmore chapter president said seeing all different types of people there was inspiring.

"All different nationalities, it really puts a meaning to what the I have a dream speech really means," said Ardmore NAACP President Elizabeth Williams said. "It makes it reality."
