ARDMORE, OK - Hundreds of people came out to the Ardmore Veteran's Center Monday morning to show appreciation to all the soldiers who've served our country.

The National Anthem was played by the Ardmore High School band. Several other local high schools made the trip as well.

State Representative Pat Ownbey said that he was pleased to see educators help younger people understand what Veteran's Day means and what kind of commitment soldiers make for our freedom.

Retired US Army Major Larry K. Martin was Monday's guest speaker.
