ARDMORE, OK -- An Ardmore man, accused of abducting and raping a 7-year-old girl, has been found competent to stand trial.

The Carter County District Attorney's Office says a preliminary conference for 27-year-old Brendon Marusak has been set for July 10th.

Marusak is charged with 3 counts of first degree rape along with kidnapping a child, first degree burglary and possession of meth.

Police say he took the child from her home over Labor Day Weekend last year and sexually assaulted her at his nearby apartment.
