Ardmore man arrested for robbery and assault of an officer

ARDMORE, OK -- Ardmore police arrested a man for stealing another man's money right in front of him and getting into an altercation with a police officer.

25-year-old Manuel Tuesca Junior was booked into the Carter County Jail Tuesday on charges of first degree robbery and assault and battery on an officer.

Police say Tuesca was selling magazines when a man pulled out his wallet to pay, officers say Tuesca grabbed money out of the wallet and ran off.

Later during an interview, Ardmore police say he shoved a detective.

His bond is set at $60,000 dollars.
