PARIS, TX-- Paris Police are looking for a man they say robbed a convenience store late Wednesday night.
It happened just after 11 P.M. at the City Mart convenience store in the 700 block of Bonham Street.
Police say a black man entered the store, displayed a small handgun and demanded cash from the register. He then left the store on foot.
The suspect is described as a black man around 20 years old, about 190 pounds, between 5'9 and 6'2 and was last seen wearing a red hoodie.
"She (the clerk) had been in the back of the store stocking and heard the door alarm go off and someone walk in," said Chief Bob Hundley. "She went up to meet him, he produced a handgun and ordered her to lay down in the cooler area and then robbed the cash register."
