HUGO, OK -- For nearly five years a rape investigation in Hugo has gone unsolved, but Police believe they have finally caught the suspect.
Hugo Police say 26-year old Delvonshay Locke was arrested Thursday in connection with a 2009 rape investigation.
Last month authorities received an OSBI report that DNA taken from the investigation matched someone in their probation system.
Based on that information investigators were able to obtain a search warrant to get a DNA sample from Locke.
He denied all the allegations in his first interview Tuesday but since changed his mind.
Billy Jenkins with the Hugo Police said, "5 p.m. yesterday afternoon the suspect returned to the police department here and made a full confession."
Authorities have spoke with the victim since the confession and say she is willing to cooperate in the investigation.
Locke was arrested based on the confession and a Choctaw County judge signed an affidavit Friday setting his bond at $75,000 dollars.
